1892 25c Barber Quarter NGC MS 63 Uncirculated Darkly Toned First Year Of Issue

An 1892 first year of issue, barber quarter graded MS 63 by NGC. This coin carries an excellent strike throughout both sides with dark original toned surfaces throughout the obverse and reverse. This date is very popular among collectors as it is commonly collected among type collectors since it is the first year of issue for the series. It holds a massive mintage of 8,236,000. Of this huge mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 20,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 303 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
