An original 1892 barber half dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. It is sharply struck among both sides with very heavily completely toned original surfaces. It has a darker look when looking straight onto the coin but you can see the appealing toning when the coin is tilted in the light. This coin has minted during the first year of the barber half dollar series. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This Philadelphia Mint date has a total mintage of 934,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,000 have survived in all grades. It is one of just 249 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
