1892 50C Barber Half Dollar ANACS AU 50 About Uncirculated First Year of Issue

An 1892 first year of issue, barber half dollar graded AU 50 by ANACS. It holds a sharp strike among both sides with mostly white surfaces and only a light hue of toning. A coin that is very popular for both barber half dollar collectors and U.S type collectors being minted during the first year of the series. The reverse is more white than the photos show but the lighting must have captured some additional toning than what is on the coin. For the reverse of the coin, please judge the slabbed shot photo most. This coin holds a large mintage of 934,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,000 have survived in all grades today.
