A very attractive 1889 S better date silver Morgan dollar graded MS 62 by NGC. This coin carries an exceptional strike throughout both sides with attractive lustrous and original surfaces. The reverse looks fully proof-like but the obverse unfortunately is not. A very appealing coin for the grade deemed by NGC. This San Francisco Mint date holds a lower mintage of only 700,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 70,000 (10%) have survived today. This coin is one of only 1,188 graded Mint State 62 by NGC.
