1889 $1 Morgan Dollar NGC MS 65 Uncirculated Lustrous Looks Better ! Very Nice

An exceptional 1889 silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by NGC. It carries a superior quality strike with nearly entirely blast white surfaces throughout both the obverse and reverse. This coin looks like it should have at least earned a plus grade or have graded one point higher by NGC in our recommendation. This is a very common date to the series with a huge mintage of 21,726,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that 2,220,000 (approximately 10%) have survived today. It is one of 2,401 graded Mint State 65 by NGC.
