A very sharp 1889 CC key date silver Morgan dollar graded VF 35 by PCGS. It carries superior details for the grade and looks like a full on extra fine grade in our recommendation. It has very sharply defined hair details with excellent feather details on the reverse. We believe PCGS was extremely harsh on this coin. This attractive example has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label holder. This key date Carson City Mint coin holds one of the lowest mintages of the entire series of only 350,000. Of this low mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 25,250 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 705 graded Very Fine 30 by PCGS.
