A beautiful 1888 S better date silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It carries an excellent strike throughout both sides with blast white and extremely lustrous surfaces. This beautiful coin has been housed in an old green label PCGS holder. The PCGS label is slightly tilted in the holder but the holder is fully intact. It looks like this coin could potentially grade higher today. A neat date to find stored in an old time holder. This San Francisco Mint date holds a mintage of 2,304,000. Of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 230,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 505 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
