A beautiful 1887/6 proof only over-date key date three cent nickel piece graded PR 64+ by NGC. It holds a strong proof quality strike with some very light toning throughout the reverse.
This proof issue coin holds a total mintage of 2,960. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Fact estimates that only 800 have survived in all grades today. It is the only one graded Proof 64+ by NGC.
