An attractive 1887/6 Three Cent Nickel piece graded PF 66 by PCGS. It carries a superior quality strike throughout both sides with very original and lightly toned surfaces. This coin is much more attractive than what is shown in the photos provided.
This key variety coin holds a low mintage of only 2,960. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 800 of these exist today with cameo surfaces such as this one. It is one of only 55 graded Proof 66 by PCGS with only four graded finer by PCGS!
