1887/6 $1 Overdate Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 63 Uncirculated Tough Variety Coin !

A tough 1887/6 Overdate silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with a clearly visible over-date on the 7 as shown in the close-up photos provided. This variety coin is very hard to come by, especially in a mint state grade such as this one. This date is very common to the series with a massive mintage of 20,290,000. However, of this excessive mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 32,500 of these have survived that are the 1887/6 variety. This coin is one of only 506 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
