An attractive 1887 key date seated liberty half dollar graded PR 62 by PCGS. It carries an exceptional proof quality strike throughout both sides with some attractive lightly steel grey toned surfaces. A tougher date to find in both proof and mint state that is seldom offered in this grade level.
This key date coin holds a low proof mintage of only 710. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 650 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 34 graded Proof 62 by PCGS.
