1886 O $1 VAM 1A Morgan Dollar PCGS AU 58 About Uncirculated Clashed E

A beautiful 1886 O silver Morgan dollar graded AU 58 by PCGS. It holds an exceptional quality strike throughout both sides with very appealing blast white and original surfaces. This coin has been notated by PCGS to be the VAM 1A variety which is the 'clashed E' on the reverse below the tailfeathers of the eagle. This is one of the nicest examples we have ever offered for this particular variety. This New Orleans Mint date holds a total mintage of 10,710,000. However, this coin is one of only 57 graded About Uncirculated 58 by PCGS that is the VAM 1A 'Clashed E' variety.
