A tough 1885 key date seated liberty quarter graded AU 58 by NGC. It holds a great overall strike with nearly a blast white obverse with a completely darkly toned reverse. This date is seldom ever offered in this grade level. It has been housed in a slightly older style NGC holder.
This coin carries a total mintage of only 13,600. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived in all grades. It is one of only five graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC.
