An attractive 1885 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by NGC. It carries an exceptional strike throughout both sides with mostly blast white and extremely lustrous original surfaces. It does hold a touch of toning near the middle of the reverse.
This Carson City Mint date carries one of the lowest mintage's of the entire series of only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that 174,250 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 6,680 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
