A very original 1885 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 NGC. This Carson City Mint date has very mark free surfaces for the grade with a light hue of toning that covers most of the obverse and just at light touch of the reverse. This coin looks like it could have easily graded a point higher from NGC.
This date carries one of the lowest mintage's of the entire series of only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that 174,250 have survived in all grades today. It is one of 7,232 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
