A beautiful 1885 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65+ by PCGS. It holds a great strike, very mark free surfaces for the grade, and some beautiful original toning around the rims of the obverse and throughout the reverse. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This Carson City Mint date has the lowest mintage of the Carson City coins for the series of only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 174,250 have survived in all grades. It is one of only 203 graded Mint State 65+ by PCGS.
