A beautiful 1885 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. It holds an excellent strike with mostly white surfaces among both sides. This date has been one of our best sellers for the Morgan Dollar series. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
The 1885 Carson City Mint dollar has the lowest mintage of all Carson City Minted coins for the Morgan dollar series of only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 174,250 have survived in all grades. It is one of only 8,930 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
