1885 5C Liberty Head Nickel PCGS PR 63 Proof Key Date Coin Toned !

A tough 1885 key date proof Liberty Head Nickel graded PR 63 by PCGS. It carries an exceptional proof quality strike with a hue of golden toning throughout both sides. It does have some tone spots as shown in the photos provided. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. We believe the toning is too pronounced throughout the close-up photos although it does carry some toning. This key date coin has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This proof key date coin has a total mintage of only 3,970. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,300 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 143 graded Proof 63 by PCGS.
