1885 $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 64 Uncirculated OGH Rattler Holder CAC Approved Cert#5285

An 1885 silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. This coin carries heavily toned crusty original surfaces and has been housed in an old time PCGS first generation 'Rattler' holder. It has also been approved by CAC for quality. This is one of the most common dates to the entire Morgan dollar series with a mintage of 17,786,837. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,775,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 29,625 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS. It is also one of only 361 approved by CAC in this grade level.
