1884 S $1 Morgan Dollar NGC AU 50 About Uncirculated Better Date Original Toned

An attractive 1884 S better date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 50 by NGC. It carries an excellent strike throughout both sides with very crusty original toned surfaces. The luster is subdued by the toning but it is a completely original coin for the grade and is overall very attractive. This better date coin holds a mintage of 3,300,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 199,980 of these have survived today! This coin is one of only 1,045 graded about uncirculated by NGC.
