1883 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 65 Uncirculated Carson City Mint Toned Cert#7214

An 1883 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by PCGS. This Carson City Mint coin carries very mark free surfaces for the grade with a very unusual tone throughout the obverse. We would say the obverse slabbed photo provided gives the best representation of how this coin is toned. This Carson City Mint date holds a fairly high mintage of 1,204,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 700,000 have survived today. It is one of 9,398 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
