1883 3CN Three Cent Nickel PCGS XF 45 Extra Fine to AU CAC Approved Key Date

A very attractive 1883 key date three cent nickel piece graded XF 45 by PCGS. It carries perfect detail for the grade with very crusty original toned surfaces. A tough date to find in any grade level, especially in a nice mid-grade such as this one. It has earned itself the green CAC sticker for quality. This key date coin holds a tiny mintage of only 4,000. Of this tiny mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 200 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 32 graded Extra Fine 45 by PCGS. It is also one of only six approved by CAC in this grade level.
