This 1883 three cent nickel has pleasing extra fine details on both sides. This key date coin has a very low mintage of only 4,000 and is tough to find in any condition! It does have some rim damage located at about 12 o' clock. Still, a very desirable date to find for the three cent nickel series. This coin has two distinguished die cracks on the reverse with one located at 12 o' clock and the other at 9 o' clock on the reverse. A very tough business strike coin to find.
