1881 S $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 66+ Uncirculated Blast White Lustrous GEM!

An exceptional 1881 S silver Morgan dollar graded MS 66+ by PCGS. It carries a superior quality strike throughout both sides with very lustrous attractive surfaces. It is completely blast white and lustrous throughout both the obverse and reverse. We thought this beauty would grade a point higher but PCGS decided to be conservative on this one. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This date is among the most common for the entire Morgan dollar series. It holds a huge mintage of 12,760,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 659 graded Mint State 66+ by PCGS.
