1881 S $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 65 Uncirculated Looks PL & Toned Beauty !

An absolutely gorgeous 1881 S silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by PCGS. It carries a superior quality strike throughout both sides with very flashy and attractive surfaces. It holds what looks like proof like surfaces with some attractive toning throughout the reverse. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. We would say the toning is most accurately shown between the close-ups and slabbed shot photos. It looks more pronounced in the PCGS Secure Photos than it is in hand in our opinion. This date is among the most common for the entire Morgan dollar series. It holds a huge mintage of 12,760,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of 57,265 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
