1881 O $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 64 PL Uncirculated Proof Like OGH Old Holder

An attractive 1881 O silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 PL by PCGS. A slightly tougher New Orleans Mint date to find in this grade level having been stored in an old green label PCGS holder. This appealing coni is very mark free for the grade and holds a very light touch of toning mainly on the obverse. This New Orleans Mint date holds a mintage of 5,708,000. However, of this large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 of these have survived with proof like surfaces such as this one. It is one of only 110 graded Mint State 64 Proof Like by PCGS.
