An 1881 CC key date silver Morgan dollar graded VF 25 by NGC. This Carson City Mint date holds strong details for the grade and is very seldom ever offered certified in this mid-grade level. It is one of only a few we have ever offered that has been certified and is in circulated condition. This Carson City Mint date is much easier to find certified in mint state condition than in circulated condition. This Carson City Mint date holds a very low mintage of only 296,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 180,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 82 graded to be in Very Fine condition by NGC.
