1881 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 65 Uncirculated Carson City Mint Original

An absolutely beautiful 1881 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by PCGS. It carries a superior strike throughout both sides with a light touch of original toning most noticeable around the obverse rims. It is a very superior coin for the grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This Carson City Mint date has been in strong demand lately among collectors. This Carson City Mint date holds a very low mintage of only 296,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 180,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 5100 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
