An absolutely beautiful 1881 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It carries a superior strike throughout both sides with some blast white and extremely lustrous surfaces. It is a very superior coin for the grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This Carson City Mint date holds a very low mintage of only 296,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 180,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 5,406 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
