An attractive 1881 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It carries a superior strike throughout both sides with some blast white lustrous and original surfaces. This coin has been housed in a PCGS Holder that has noted it to have come from a 'GSA'.
This Carson City Mint date holds a very low mintage of only 296,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 180,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 5,406 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
