1880 S $1 Morgan Dollar NGC MS 64 Uncirculated CAC Approved Toned ! Cert#7012

A very attractive 1880 S silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by NGC. It holds an excellent strike throughout both sides with some attractive blue and purple toning around the obverse rims. This attractive coin has been approved by CAC for quality. This date is among the most common to the entire Morgan dollar series. It holds a mintage of 8,900,000. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that 2,000,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of 64,426 graded Mint State 64 by NGC. It is also one of only 571 approved by CAC in this grade level.
