An absolutely gorgeous 1880 S silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 PL by PCGS. This coin carries very lustrous and attractive proof like surfaces throughout the obverse and reverse. It looks like it could have easily gone in to a deep mirror proof like designated holder in our recommendation.
This is one of the most common dates to the entire Morgan dollar series with a mintage of 8,900,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 40,000 examples still exist that are proof like in all grades today. This coin is one of only 4,679 graded MS 64 PL by PCGS.
