A beautiful 1880 CC Reverse of 1879, silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by NGC. It holds a superior quality strike with a richly toned orange obverse and a blast white reverse. This Carson City Mint date has been harder to come by in this grade level lately having been certified by NGC.
This Carson City Mint date holds a mintage of only 591,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 247,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 2,244 graded Mint State 65 by NGC.
