An exceptional 1880 CC Reverse of 1879, silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It holds a superior strike throughout both sides with some light toning on the very edge of the rims of the obverse. It is mostly blast white among both sides. A very popular coin that has been in strong demand lately.
This Carson City Mint date holds a mintage of only 591,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 247,000 have survived in all grades today. This attractive coin is one of only 5,467 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
