1880 1c Indian Head Cent NGC MS 64 RB Uncirculated Red Brown Exceptional Coin !

An absolutely beautiful 1880 better date Indian head cent graded MS 64 RB by NGC. It holds a by far exceptional strike among both sides with mark free surfaces for the grade. We believe this coin should have graded a point higher by NGC and they were very harsh on it for only giving it an MS 64 grade in our recommendation. It is by far nicer than the last one that we sold in this grade level. This date holds a high mintage of 38,961,000. However, of this huge mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 700 have survived with red and brown surfaces today. It is one of only 366 graded Mint State 64 Red Brown by NGC.
