An 1880 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by NGC. It carries an excellent strike with some light original toning throughout both sides. This beautiful coin has been notated to be the 8/7 CC Top 100 VAM 6 (Low 7) variety. A tougher variety coin to find in this grade level or better condition.
This Carson City Mint date has a total mintage of 591,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 247,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 53 graded Mint State 64 for this variety by NGC.
