An 1879 S reverse of 1878, silver Morgan dollar graded XF-45 by PCGS. This coin carries a moon-shaped tone that is depicted as a dark black tone in the photos. In the beginning of the crescent, it has colorful maroon, blue and green toning in the area away from the rim. Only the closest portion to the rim on the obverse has a dark black tone.
