1879 CC $1 Morgan Dollar NGC XF 45 CAC Approved VAM 3 Capped CC Original Coin

A completely original 1879 CC (Capped CC) Morgan dollar graded XF 45 by NGC that has been approved by CAC for quality. It holds the perfect amount of detail for the grade with choice original toned surfaces. A tough Carson City Mint date to find in this pleasing mid-grade. It is one of the only ones we have offered in this grade in a very long time having been approved by CAC. Please note, the right side of the front of the slab does have some scuffing as shown in the photos provided. This Carson City Mint date has total mintage of 756,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,770 of these have survived in all grades. It is one of just 159 graded Extra Fine 45 by NGC. It is also one of just 22 approved by CAC for quality in this grade!
