1879 CC $1 Morgan Dollar NGC XF 45 Extra Fine to AU Carson City Mint Purple Toned

A tough 1879 CC better date silver Morgan dollar graded XF 45 by NGC. It carries strong details for the grade with a unique lightly purple tone throughout the obverse and reverse. A very tough Carson City Mint date to find in this mid-grade level. It is one of only a few we have ever offered in this grade level. This Carson City Mint date holds a low mintage of only 756,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 14,900 have survived today. It is also one of only 358 graded Extra Fine 45 by NGC.
