1879 CC $1 Capped Die Morgan Dollar PCGS VF 35 Very Fine to Extra Fine CAC Approved

A very attractive 1879 CC (Capped Die) Morgan dollar graded VF 35 by PCGS. It holds excellent details throughout both sides with perfect original surfaces. We purchased this coin expecting it would end up in an XF 40 graded holder but PCGS decided to be conservative on this one. A very appealing coin that has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder and has been approved by CAC for quality. The 1879 CC (Capped CC) silver Morgan dollar holds a mintage of 756,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,770 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 184 graded Very Fine 35 by PCGS. It is also one of only nine approved by CAC for quality.
