1878 CC T$1 Trade Dollar PCGS VF Very Fine Details Key Date Rare! (Old Cleaning)

A tough 1878 CC key date trade dollar graded Very Fine details 'cleaned' by PCGS. Although we agree this coin has had an old cleaning, we would say it could have easily ended up in a problem free holder. The close-up photos provided give the coin a red hue but it really looks closer to the coloration of the certified photos provided. Just a very tough date coin to find that we have only offered a few of lately. It holds strong detail for a very fine grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This 1878 CC trade dollar has a total mintage of only 97,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 350 have survived in all grades!
