A tough 1878 CC key date seated liberty half dollar graded G 6 by NGC. It holds strong full rims throughout both sides with darker toned original surfaces. A Carson City Mint key date coin that is seldom offered in any condition. These have been very difficult to find lately in any grade level.
This Carson City Mint date has a total mintage of only 62,000. Of this small mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 150 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 12 graded to be in 'Good' condition by NGC.
