1878 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 65+ Uncirculated Carson City Mint Blast White

An absolutely beautiful 1878 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65+ by PCGS. It carries a superior quality strike with blast white and extremely lustrous surfaces throughout both sides. A very mark free coin for the grade that is definitely at the top tier for quality for this grade level. It has been stored in a PCGS Secure Label holder. The 1878 CC silver Morgan dollar is the first Carson City Mint Morgan dollar minted by the United States Mint. It carries a mintage of 2,212,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 295,000 have survived today with only an estimated 7,000 remaining in MS 65 or higher condition such as this one. This coin is one of only 93 graded MS 65+ by PCGS.
