1878 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 64 Uncirculated Carson City Mint Cert#3200

A 1878 CC better date silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. It carries an exceptional strike throughout both sides with some light original toning throughout most of the obverse. The reverse looks like it carries strong proof-like surface. A very appealing coin that has earned it's grade from PCGS. This popular first year of issue Carson City Mint date holds a large size mintage of 2,212,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 295,000 have survived today. It is one of only 7,635 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
