A very attractive 1878 CC better date silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by ANACS. It carries an exceptional strike throughout both sides with very attractive lustrous original surfaces. It is mostly white throughout both sides with just a hint of light golden toning around the rims of both sides.
This popular first year of issue Carson City Mint date holds a large size mintage of 2,212,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 295,000 have survived today.
