A very attractive 1878 8TF silver dollar graded MS 63 by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with toned original surfaces most notably throughout the obverse. A tougher one to find lately in this 'affordable' mint state grade level. It looks completely original and is appealing for the grade level.
This Philadelphia Mint date holds a mintage of 749,500. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 250,000 have survived in all gradates today. It is one of 4,853 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
