A beautiful 1878 8TF silver dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with lustrous and lightly toned original surfaces. A tougher one to find lately in this 'affordable' mint state grade level.
This Philadelphia Mint date holds a mintage of 749,500. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 250,000 have survived in all gradates today. It is one of only 6,549 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
