An absolutely gorgeous 1878 7/8 Weak silver Morgan dollar graded MS 65 by NGC. It holds an excellent strike with entirely blast white and extremely lustrous surfaces. The photos make this coin appear more toned than how it looks in person and do not give justice to this beautiful coin. This is tied for top pop by NGC for this particular variety. NGC has notated this one to be the VAM 33 7/4 TF variety. P This date holds a huge mintage of 9,759,300. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 148,650 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 19 graded Mint State 65 by NGC with none graded finer for this variety by NGC.
