1878 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS MS 64 RB Uncirculated Red Brown Better Date

An 1878 better date Indian head cent graded MS 64 RB by PCGS. It carries a sharp strike throughout both the obverse and reverse with some unusual original toning. A tougher date to find in this high grade level. This date holds a mintage of 5,797,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 700 have survived today with red and brown surfaces such as this one. It is one of only 297 graded Mint State 64 Red Brown by PCGS.
