It holds a very sharp strike throughout both sides with attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. A tougher key date to find in this Extra Fine grade level from NGC. The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! At the time of this listing NGC is showing that they have only certified 160 of these in extra fine condition.
